Ingredientes:📋
Para la masa:
2 tazas de masa de maíz
1/2 taza de mantequilla (a temperatura ambiente)
1/4 taza de azúcar
1 cucharadita de polvo para hornear
1 lata de leche evaporada
Leche condensada al gusto
1 cucharadita de extracto de vainilla
Una pizca de sal
Para el relleno:
2 tazas de piña fresca picada (puedes usar piña enlatada si no tienes fresca)
1/4 taza de azúcar (ajusta al gusto)
1 cucharadita de canela en polvo
1 cucharada de jugo de limón
Para envolver:Hojas de maíz (remojadas en agua caliente)

1. Prepara el relleno:
En un tazón, mezcla la piña picada, el azúcar, la canela y el jugo de limón. Deja reposar por 15 minutos para que se integren los sabores.
2. Prepara la masa:
En un bol grande, bate la mantequilla con el azúcar hasta obtener una textura cremosa. Agrega la masa de maíz, el polvo para hornear, la leche evaporada, el extracto de vainilla y la pizca de sal. Mezcla bien hasta obtener una masa homogénea.
3. Arma los tamales:
Toma una hoja de maíz y coloca 2-3 cucharadas de masa en el centro. Extiende la masa en una capa fina y añade una cucharada del relleno de piña en el centro. Dobla los lados de la hoja hacia el centro y enrolla para cerrar el tamal. Amarra con una tira de hoja de maíz o hilo de cocina si es necesario.
4. Cocina los tamales:
Coloca los tamales en una vaporera. Agrega agua al fondo de la vaporera y llévala a ebullición. Cocina al vapor durante aproximadamente 1 hora o hasta que la masa se despegue fácilmente de la hoja de maíz.
5. Sirve:
Retira los tamales del fuego y deja enfriar unos minutos. Sirve calientes y, si deseas, acompaña con crema o una salsa dulce.
