- 500 gramos de Physalis (también conocida como aguaymanto o uchuva)
- 250 gramos de azúcar
- Jugo de medio limón
- 1 rama de canela (opcional)
- Agua (si es necesario)

Instrucciones:
- Preparar los Physalis: Lava bien los Physalis y quítales las envolturas de papel.
- Cocinar la fruta: En una olla grande, coloca los Physalis, el azúcar, y el jugo de limón. Si estás usando la rama de canela, agrégala también. Cocina a fuego medio, removiendo ocasionalmente hasta que el azúcar se disuelva por completo.
- Hervir la mezcla: Lleva la mezcla a ebullición. Una vez que hierva, reduce el fuego a bajo y cocina a fuego lento durante unos 20-25 minutos, removiendo de vez en cuando. Si la mezcla se seca demasiado, puedes añadir un poco de agua.
- Probar la consistencia: Para verificar si la mermelada está lista, coloca una pequeña cantidad en un plato frío. Si la mermelada se espesa y no se corre, está lista.
- Envasar la mermelada: Vierte la mermelada caliente en frascos esterilizados. Deja enfriar a temperatura ambiente antes de cerrar los frascos.
