Judías Verdes, Tocino y Patatas

Ingredientes:

  • 1 libra de judías verdes, cortadas
  • 1 libra de papas rojas pequeñas, cortadas en cuartos
  • 1/2 libra de tocino, cortado en cubitos
  • 1/2 taza de cebolla picada
  • 2 dientes de ajo, picados
  • 1/4 taza de mantequilla
  • 1 cucharadita de tomillo seco
  • 1/2 cucharadita de sal
  • 1/4 cucharadita de pimienta negra molida
  • Perejil fresco, para decorar

Preparación:

  1. Cocinar el tocino:
    • En una sartén grande u horno holandés, cocina el tocino a fuego medio hasta que esté crujiente.
    • Retira el tocino con una espumadera y deja escurrir sobre papel toalla.
  2. Saltear verduras:
    • En la misma sartén, derrite la mantequilla en la grasa del tocino.
    • Añade la cebolla y el ajo, y sofríe hasta que estén fragantes.
    • Agrega las judías verdes y las papas, y cocina hasta que estén tiernas, unos 10-15 minutos.
  3. Condimentar:
    • Añade el tomillo seco, la sal y la pimienta negra molida.
    • Vuelve a agregar el tocino crujiente a la sartén y mezcla bien.
  4. Servir:
    • Decora con perejil fresco antes de servir.
