Donas Caseras 😊😍

Ingredientes:

  • 3 tazas de harina
  • 2 cucharadas de mantequilla
  • 7 gramos de levadura de cerveza (levadura seca)
  • 1 taza de leche tibia
  • 1/4 de taza de azúcar
  • 1 huevo grande
  • 1/2 cucharadita de sal
  • Aceite para freír
  • Azúcar extra o glaseado para decorar (opcional)

Instrucciones:

  1. Preparar la Levadura:
    • Disuelve los 7 gramos de levadura de cerveza en la taza de leche tibia y añade 1 cucharada de azúcar. Deja reposar durante unos 10 minutos o hasta que la mezcla esté espumosa.
  2. Mezclar los Ingredientes:
    • En un tazón grande, mezcla la harina, el resto del azúcar y la sal. Haz un hueco en el centro y añade la mezcla de levadura, el huevo y la mantequilla derretida.
    • Mezcla bien todos los ingredientes hasta obtener una masa suave y homogénea.
  3. Amasar:
    • Amasa la masa sobre una superficie ligeramente enharinada durante unos 10 minutos, hasta que esté elástica y no pegajosa. Si es necesario, añade más harina poco a poco.
  4. Dejar Leudar:
    • Coloca la masa en un tazón ligeramente engrasado, cúbrelo con un paño húmedo y deja reposar en un lugar cálido hasta que la masa haya duplicado su tamaño (aproximadamente 1-2 horas).
  5. Formar las Donas:
    • Una vez que la masa haya leudado, desinfla suavemente y extiéndela con un rodillo hasta un grosor de aproximadamente 1 cm.
    • Usa un cortador de donas o dos cortadores redondos (uno grande y otro pequeño para el agujero) para cortar las donas y colócalas en una bandeja forrada con papel pergamino.
  6. Segunda Levadura:
    • Deja que las donas cortadas reposen durante unos 30 minutos adicionales para que vuelvan a subir un poco.
  7. Freír las Donas:
    • Calienta suficiente aceite en una sartén grande a fuego medio-alto.
    • Fríe las donas en tandas, dándoles la vuelta para que se doren por ambos lados (aproximadamente 2-3 minutos por lado). Usa una espumadera para sacarlas y colócalas en un plato con papel absorbente para eliminar el exceso de aceite.
  8. Decorar:
    • Una vez que las donas estén ligeramente enfriadas, puedes pasarlas por azúcar extra o cubrirlas con glaseado si lo deseas.

Decoración de Glaseado (opcional):

  • Glaseado Básico:
    • Mezcla 1 taza de azúcar glas con 2-3 cucharadas de leche y 1 cucharadita de esencia de vainilla hasta obtener una consistencia suave. Sumerge la parte superior de las donas en el glaseado y deja que se endurezca.
