- 1 chayote: Pelado y cortado en cubos.
- 1 tomate rojo: Este se utilizar谩 para dar sabor y color al caldo.
- 2 chiles guajillo: Son chiles secos que se deben rehidratar y licuar para a帽adir al caldo.
- 1 trocito de cebolla: Ayuda a darle m谩s sabor al caldo.
- 1 ajo: Un diente de ajo para aportar aroma y sabor.
- 1 rama de cilantro: Para a帽adir frescura al caldo.

Pasos:
- Preparaci贸n de los camarones:
- Pela los camarones y guarda las c谩scaras. Retira la vena de los camarones con la ayuda de un palillo.
- Caldo base:
- Pon a cocer las c谩scaras de camar贸n junto con el tomate y los chiles guajillo en medio litro de agua. Esto formar谩 la base del caldo con mucho sabor.
- Preparaci贸n de las verduras:
- Pela y pica la papa, zanahoria, chayote, y calabacita (si decides incluirla).
- Cocci贸n inicial de las verduras:
- Calienta un poco de aceite en una olla grande. Fr铆e la papa, zanahoria y chayote por unos 5 minutos.
- Luego agrega la calabacita y sigue friendo por unos minutos m谩s.
- Licuar y colar:
- Lic煤a la mezcla de las c谩scaras de camar贸n, tomate, chiles guajillo, cebolla y ajo. Lic煤a muy bien y luego cuela esta mezcla para agregarla a las verduras en la olla.
- Cocci贸n del caldo:
- A帽ade sal y pimienta al gusto. Agrega la rama de cilantro y deja que la mezcla hierva hasta que las verduras est茅n bien cocidas.
- A帽ade el epazote troceado y los camarones. Cocina todo junto por unos 5 a 8 minutos m谩s.
- Finalizaci贸n y servicio:
- Retira las ramas de cilantro del caldo. Sirve de inmediato para disfrutarlo caliente.
